Event Registration & Purchasing
All event ticket purchases, whether in-person or webinar, are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable due to third-party commitments (e.g., venue, speakers) and early booking arrangements.
Refunds may only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the Chapter.
The ticket purchase entitles the attendee to the scheduled event(s) on the date(s) selected only.
AICI Australia holds the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule an event. In such cases, you may be offered a credit for a future event or a refund of the ticket price.
Cancellation or Partial Attendance
Once you’ve registered for an event, partial refunds are not available, including for the exclusion of optional components (e.g. included meals).
Any requests to change to partial attendance after booking may not be accommodated, particularly for bundled or discounted packages.
Event Cancellation by Organiser
In rare cases, AICI Australia may cancel or reschedule an event due to inadequate registration, presenter illness, venue issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
If an event is cancelled by us, you will be offered a full refund or credit for a future event.
We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation) due to cancellations or changes.
Photography, Recording & Media Use
By attending an event hosted by AICI Australia (virtual or in-person), you grant permission for photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the event to be used in promotional materials, social media, and chapter communications.
If you do not wish to appear in any media, please advise us in writing prior to the event so we can do our best to accommodate.
Webinar Access & Content
Paid webinar attendees receive access to live sessions (date/time confirmed at purchase) and post-event recorded content.
Webinar recordings and materials are available in a password-protected portal. Sharing or forwarding login credentials is prohibited.
Access to recordings is available for a limited period after the event start. Access expires after this period.
Permission to download, share, copy or distribute content is strictly reserved to the purchaser. Unauthorised distribution may lead to removal of access.
Professional Conduct & Confidentiality
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, inclusive, and professional manner at all times, whether attending in person or online.
Disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.
During workshops, discussions, or breakout rooms, any personal or professional information shared by other attendees is to be treated as confidential and not disclosed outside the event environment.
By attending, you agree not to record, screenshot, or replicate discussions without express permission.
Certification, CEUs & Membership
Participation in an AICI Australia Chapter event or webinar does not automatically provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) toward AICI certification or recertification.
CEUs are only awarded for specific programs that have been formally approved by AICI Global. If applicable, this will be clearly stated on the event registration page.
AICI Membership is managed at the international level via aici.org, and Chapter attendance does not imply or replace global membership.
Discounts, voting rights, and access to exclusive content may be available only to active, verified AICI members.
